Overview

LinkedIn Profile Optimizer is a Chrome extension that analyzes LinkedIn profiles and provides optimization suggestions. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

What Data We Collect

When you click “Analyze this profile,” the extension reads the content of the LinkedIn profile page currently displayed in your browser. This includes publicly visible profile information such as name, headline, about section, experience, education, and skills.

How We Use Your Data

Profile data is sent to our analysis server solely to generate optimization suggestions. The data is processed in real-time and stored temporarily in server memory for up to one hour to allow you to view your results. After that, it is automatically deleted.

We do not:

• Store your data permanently
• Share your data with third parties
• Use your data for advertising
• Sell your data
• Track your browsing activity
• Collect data from pages other than the profile you choose to analyze

Data Storage and Security

Analysis results are held in temporary server memory (not written to disk or database) and automatically expire after one hour. All communication between the extension and our server uses HTTPS encryption.

Third-Party Services

We use Anthropic's Claude AI API to analyze profile content and generate suggestions. Profile text is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to their handling of this data: https://www.anthropic.com/privacy

Your Rights

Since we do not permanently store any personal data, there is nothing to delete or export. If you uninstall the extension, all cached data expires within one hour.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL.
